Interview with Thilde Juul-Wiese, Danish teacher with a Masters degree in The Anthropology of Education and Globalization from the University of Aarhus, School of Education, and presently studying international practicums among pre-service teachers.

Trained in cultural and linguistic anthropology, Gonzalez has carried out household ethnography, researched language processes in communities, and co-developed the first Funds of Knowledge project.

In addition to teaching in the Masters Program in Educational Anthropology, Gilliam has carried out extensive fieldwork in Danish comprehensive schools with a focus on the interplay of the institution of school, teacher's pedagogical ideals and minority students' identity processes.
Interview with Kathryn Anderson-Levitt, Professor Emerita of the University of Michigan/Dearborn. Trained as an anthropologist at Stanford, Anderson-Levitt has studied teaching culture, carrying out fieldwork among teachers in the US, France and Guinea. She has also investigated the impact of the globalization of schooling in local settings and is editor of the anthology: Anthropologies of Education: A Global Guide to Ethnographic Studies of Learning and Schooling (2011).
