Short Description:

The school has a dual anthropological focus on culture – as social process, values, common history and environments and as aesthetic expression through words, movement, music, and dramatization. The school places pedagogical emphasis on thematic project work (theoretical and practical) and intellectual focus on culture (own, other, children’s), social justice and environmental issues – working with school children and parents to develop alternative possibilities for participation and engagement. Children collaborate and contribute to environmental and social projects in Africa and elsewhere around the world.

Implementation: Comprehensive school (kindergarten class, grades 1-9), after-school day care and club
